intuitive roots

My mission is to provide exceptional prenatal, birth, and postpartum support to all birthing individuals and families in Massachusetts & Rhode Island.

What is a doula?

a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

Why hire a doula?

With a doula by your side you will have someone there supporting your needs and provide hands-on emotional, physical, & educational support throughout the entire process of pregnancy, labor and birth, and into the postpartum period.

As your doula, I am there to help fill in the gaps in the maternal care system.  While your healthcare providers and family  do an excellent job caring for you in their own capacity, I provide continuous unbiased and evidence-based support.

As your doula I do not replace the role of the care provider or the birth partner, I strive to only enhance the experience!

•  greater satisfaction with their birth experience

•  lower intervention rates including cesareans

•  increased breast feeding rates

•  decreased postpartum mood disorders

Whether this is your first pregnancy or you've experienced birth before I will provide individualized care pertaining to your personal needs.  I understand every individual and birth is unique therefore the template below is malleable:
