Childbirth Education for modern families
You will learn how to navigate pregnancy and childbirth, identify your desires and goals, and grow your confidence. This comprehensive, evidence-based course will equip you with tools to facilitate a positive birth AND postpartum experience.
You will leave prepared for your dream birth whether that be an unmedicated vaginal birth, a medically assisted birth, VBAC, or anywhere in between. If you are taking this class with a partner they will leave prepared to support you every step of the way!
We encourage the entire birth team take the this course together!
Will be customized to your expected birth setting: home, birth center, or hospital.
As a doula and student midwife, I have extensive experience supporting births in a variety of settings.

‣ Understand how your environment influences your hormones
‣ How to prepare for a hospital, birth center, or homebirth
‣ Prepare for a TOLAC/VBAC, Breech, Twin/mutliples and Cesarean birth if applicable

‣ Common testing and procedures for birthing person and baby
‣ The difference between informed consent and an informed decision
‣ An introduction to mindfulness, meditation and breathwork as it relates to birth
‣ Advanced comfort measures and relaxation techniques
‣ Hands-on techniques like massage, counter pressure and guided movement
‣ How to labor using medical pain relief
‣ Find optimal positioning for birthing person and baby
‣ What to expect in fourth trimester and how to navigate the postpartum period
‣ Use your knowledge of birth to formulate your goals and preferences AND to advocate for youself (or your partner!)

Classes are currently being offered privately via zoom. In person classes can be requested If you are local to south coast MA.
